Delete your data

You can request deletion of specific data without closing your account or subscribing to Premium. Some records are linked to others: we will review the scope with you to avoid deleting unrelated information.

1. Data and permissions

You can request review or deletion of contact data, customers, images, products, inventory, sales, quotations, reservations, payments, returns and preferences. Deleting business records requires authority to manage them. If you are a customer of a business using Sumao, identify the business and record so the request can be directed to the appropriate party.

2. Delete records or submit a request

When a section offers deletion, use that option and review the notice before confirming. If you cannot find the option, need to delete related records or want to exercise a privacy right, email privacidad@sumao.do with a precise description of the data. Your account remains active unless the request removes information needed for it to operate.

3. Request by email without signing in

Email privacidad@sumao.do from an address linked to your account. Include your name, account email, phone if registered, business name and a description of the request. We may ask for further information to verify your identity and authority over the data. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or full card details.

4. Response times and exceptions

For email requests, we will verify identity and scope and aim to resolve them within 30 days, respecting any different applicable legal deadline. We will explain any permitted extension and any data retained for legal, security or dispute reasons. Backups and payment-provider records may follow their own retention cycles; we do not promise immediate removal of every copy.
